More Program Features

The component options available are: Applied front and Integral front. We provided the functionality to size the drawer fronts for inset or overlay cabinet styles. Other options include, three types of drawer bottom joinery. These include: Standard bottom, Short back bottom and Applied bottom.
Drawer Cut calculates all the materials necessary to construct your drawers. In addition, a drawer designer utility is provided that allows you to design a set of drawers to specific dimensions. This utility saves time and eliminates the guess work, inherit when designing a drawer system for custom work.

Please check to see if the MDAC files are installed on your system prior to installation of our installer. First: Download Drawer Cut. WinZip will ask to unzip only: select that option. Included is a file: ChkInst which checks for the MDAC file set. If present, the MDAC files are not necessary. If the MDAC files are missing install them before running setup.

Please read the supplied help files within the application itself. To begin using Drawer Cut we recommend reading the Quick Start Tutorial. Following the Tutorial will insure that you are able to access all the program features.

Installation Issues: If you have problems downloading, right click the image and select from the menu : Save Target As. Save the files to a convenient location. Find the saved files and open from its current location.

1. I click on various controls such as textboxes and buttons. Nothing happens?
We recommend reading the Quick Start Tutorial. Following the Tutorial will insure that you are able to access all program features.

2. How do I minimize the program screen?
The uppermost left corner of the program screen has a visible small rectangle. Click this rectangle to minimize the application. Note: This applies to the default skin. Other skins are in standard windows format.

3. How do I locate the skins?
Skins are available by navigating to C:\Program Files\DrawerCut\Skins These controls enhance the visual aspect of the program.

4. Is Drawer Cut available for the Mac or Apple PC?
No

5. I would like to restructure the CSV file format for use in another program?
